We send every puppy home with a 1.5# bag of Puppy Food (while supply last)
It is not uncommon for new puppies not to eat the first day. We feed them well before leaving and sometimes the excitement will keep them from eating right away, don't panic. They should eat the next morning. If not you can give them diced rotisserie chicken.

Before placing a deposit make sure you are ready for a puppy. Once you place a deposit it is non-refundable. The only reason for a refund is if the puppy should get injured, dies or is not what I described to you. With mixed hair coats, it is sometimes hard to tell the difference in a long coat or smooth coat or soft wire coat, wire coat and long coat at this age. Coats are not guaranteed. Deposits are 25%-40% of total cost, Depending on age and length of time before pick up.

NOTICE: All hair coats are called as I think they will be, some puppies at this age, look to be long coat and then don't grown much more, some smooth coats are slow growing and will hit a growth spurt and change. Some turn out a medium coat somewhere between smooth and long, no hair coats are guaranteed at this age. If you are unsure, please wait a few weeks.

NOTICE: When multiple applications come in on the same puppy we contact the first approved application, and then move down the list. Some applications, take longer to verify. If they have missing information, this can delay your application. This is the fairest way we have found to place our puppies. Due to the high demand of puppies, our process has changed, a puppy is not held for you to decide, if no commitment is made by you the puppy is still for sale.
The first applicant is sent a deposit contract, usually within 2 hours then given 2 hours to make deposit once the contract was emailed to them. This is about a 4 hour process. If they fail it make the deposit then we move to the next application. Same process, some times we may go through 5 or 6 applications before someone makes a commitment. Once a deposit is made the puppy is no longer for sale it is "Sale Pending".
If the buyer fails to pick him up at 8 weeks or the arranged date, he would then again be offered to the next in line. I get a sizable deposit so that seldom happens unless some tragedy. If there are multiple people wanting the same puppy, after the first contact, the puppy is available if the first person did not make a commitment and request a deposit contract be emailed to them. If you are serious about a puppy, please make that clear. Don't say I have to talk to my spouse, then get upset, if someone else places a deposit before you. Once I send a contract (after you request it, I will not take a deposit from someone else). If this is unclear please ask questions.
I do my best to find the best most compatible homes for each puppy.

Due to the covid 19 we are not meeting in person with the puppies, until the puppies are ready to go at 8 weeks old and have had 2 series of vaccinations. One meeting only at time of pick up. This reduces the stress on puppies, and the risk of meeting new people. Since we are a state licensed breeder, we have to follow the guidelines recommended.
I totally understand if you do not want to do it that way. The only way we hold puppies is with a deposit.
You can check back with us when they are 8 weeks old, and if we still have any puppies, you can see them in person then. We are sorry for any inconvenience but that is the way it is being done now for the safety of buyer, seller or puppies.

Any puppy needing to be picked up after the 8 week old ready date can be boarded at $5.00 per day for a maximum of 3 weeks (21 days). Please make arrangements prior to committing to the contract. All puppies must be paid in full by 9 weeks of age.

We can not "HOLD" puppies without a deposit and a contract. Calling, texting, emailing, and asking questions and saying, "I want the puppy" does not make the puppy yours, puppies are available to show to the first person who show up with approved application. We keep our nursery area quite warm and drastic changes in temperature can make puppies sick, another reason we don't bother our young puppies, too often. There are times we have multiple litters of puppies and we never mix the puppies, so when handling one litter we don't handle another litter. Keep in mind, the families with deposits on the other puppies, also want pictures of their puppies, we try to be equally fair to all. We are taking every precaution to keep your puppy safe and healthy so he/she is ready to come home to you at the scheduled date. Toy to Small Breeds – weight at 6 weeks x 4 = adult weight.
Medium to Large Breeds – weight at 14 weeks x 2.5 = adult weight
Large to Giant breeds – weight at 16 weeks x 2 = adult weight
We do NOT guarantee the adult size of our puppies, it is impossible to do, we can guess, but it is just a guess. The same as not all children in the same family are the same size, it is also impossible to guess the adult height or weight of toddler. Some puppies, like children may take after their great grandfather, while some may look just like mom.

Medium to Large Breeds – weight at 14 weeks x 2.5 = adult weight
Large to Giant breeds – weight at 16 weeks x 2 = adult weight
We do NOT guarantee the adult size of our puppies, it is impossible to do, we can guess, but it is just a guess. The same as not all children in the same family are the same size, it is also impossible to guess the adult height or weight of toddler. Some puppies, like children may take after their great grandfather, while some may look just like mom.

*If puppy is marked AKC eligible, this means both parents are registered, AKC, the litter is not registered with AKC only APRI, if you want AKC registration, you can register with APRI, then send a copy of the APRI registration to AKC and request dual registration, and usually get them AKC registered, but the puppy only comes with APRI, as I prefer to work with and support APRI.
