HI Jo,
I thought I would give your a little update on Enzo, to hopefully brighten your day. He is such a joy and so handsome! We are putting him through service dog training to see if he can handle being a medical alert dog for myself. While I know many dogs wash out of service training the trainer was very optimistic with what he saw upon initial evaluation in regards to his temperament and socialization. I will let you know how it goes. Christie |

Good morning.
We have decided since Briggs is of Cuban heritage we would like to call him Rico! Hope you don't mind! He had a great visit with the vet this morning and was pronounced in excellent health! When the vet checked his ears he said they were very clean. He said it is not unusual to find the ears of little puppies dirty. You and Jay did a wonderful job in caring for him. He is a special puppy indeed - so loving, outgoing and curious! He is eating and drinking and having fun playing with his new stuffed animals. He is also getting plenty of sleep. If we learn of anyone looking for a puppy we will definitely send them your way! Frank & Matilda |

Update from Kahlua: (3/20/2019)
Hi Jo, The trip back to Ohio was unremarkable, but took much longer drive time on the second day and we didn't get back until after dark, about 8:30 pm EDT. Kahlua has a healthy appetite and eats like a P.I.G. pig! No vomiting, car sickness, diarrhea or lethargy. She's 8.5 pounds (weight from the Vet) of an accident waiting to happen. LOLOL! She has two switches--ON--and playing with reckless abandon; and OFF-- sleeping like she's dead to the world. She's very well socialized and that is a good reflection on how well you treat your puppies. She's pleasant, brave, and already follows the commands of Stay, Drop it, Easy, and loves being called a Good Girl--which she is--when she isn't chewing something of mine. She only goes after MY stuff. This morning I found her sleeping with her nose inside my shoe and lying on my pajamas. I love her freckled snout down to her crooked little tail. She's the cutest puppy I've ever seen--and the smartest. She is perfect in every way. Thank you, Jo, for the most loving puppy! She follows me around, sits under whatever chair I'm sitting in, and doesn't even need a leash outside--we are our own "pack." Kindest regards, Jane 🐶 Thanks, Jane |

October 2018 Mi-Ki-Poo -
Hello! We have had a great few days with this little puppy. We have named her Trudy. She has been eating, drinking, and going potty with no issues. She had a check up at the vet this afternoon and got a good report. Thank you for trusting us with this sweet girl! Karli Hello! Trudy is a very active, but loving little girl! She has been giving lots of kisses and loves to snuggle after playing with her toys. We are so happy to have her in our home with us! Thank you and have a great day! Karli |
Hi Jo,
Just wanted to let you know our little "Sweet Magnolia" just got a clean bill of health. Our Veterinarian was very impressed with your medical records. He said the puppy was clean, healthy, and a very nice example of a Mini Dachshund. He even asked for you number to refer his customers to you. I hope you don't mind. She has been a perfect girl. Only 1 accident since bringing her home. You didn't tell me she was already potty trained. She sleeps in her crate at night with an old Tshirt (as you suggested), she wakes about 7:00 am and goes out to potty and then eats her Royal Canin, she naps, plays, naps, potties outside and then goes to bed about 9:00 pm. I could not ask for a more perfect puppy. Thank you so much we are loving her. Elizabeth and Jon I will get some pictures soon, I attached your picture so you would remember her since we changed her name. (Sweet Magnolia aka - Colene from Coach and Sweets 6/30/2018) |

Hello my name is Suzanne... often in life there is so much negativity and we forget to focus our attention on our gratitude, that being said...back in 2013 I bought a beautiful Mini Schnauzer from you. I wanted to say thank you for the best dog and bringing so much love to our family. I don’t know what I would do without her. Here she is after her grooming. Hope you are doing well and God Bless! We had a great night! She is eating well and other dogs are getting along well. She IS very interested in the cat.... She slept in her crate last night with absolutely no whining. I was so surprised! (Friday 6/8/2018) So far, my morning has consisted of "don't chew on that" and "get your foot outta the water bowl" (Saturday 6/9/2018) We got a clean bill of health today! Our vet is very impressed with her - BTW, her name is Lucy B. Shes such a goofy redhead just like Lucille Ball! She is settling in nicely. Such a sweet disposition! (Monday 6/11/2018) Teresa |

Hello Jo (Kando Puppies)
I just wanted to let you know Ellie is doing great. She got a clean bill of health from our Vet. and has now finished her vaccinations series. She has taken to potty training like a champ. She has only had one accident in the house and it was totally our fault. I didn't get her out fast enough. I can not tell you how happy we are with our decision to get Ellie from you. Hopefully next year we will get Ellie a little sister.
Thank you for raising such wonder puppies.

Hi,
My daughter Samantha and I just wanted to send you a quick email to say thank you. Sam's in Girl Scouts and is currently working to earn her Service To Animals Fun Patch. The girls are doing a number of fun educational activities to learn about pets like safety around animals, the needs of pets, pet overpopulation, etc. They were told to do some research at home on caring for pets and Sam found your page http://www.kandopuppies.com/links.html . Its been so helpful to her we wanted to let you know and to thank you. At her kindergarten graduation Sam said when she grew up she wanted to be a veterinarian, and this has only made her want to be one more! It's great to see her so passionate about something at such a young age.
When I told Sam I was going to email you to thank you, she suggested I let you know about another resource she found, "Poisonous Plants and Flowers for Pets" at http://www.avasflowers.com/poisonous-flowers-and-plants-for-pets . She thought it could be a good addition to the resources on your page. I know its been a good resource for Sam she plans on sharing with the troop, so hopefully you find some use for it too.
Thank you again!:)
Warmly,
Lynette & Samantha

Thank you for letting us adopt him! Attached are photos of him, taken today. I keep him shaved, as that's my aesthetic preference as well as practical preference. Another prompt for me to [finally] write to you is a friend of mine was ooooo'ing and awe'ing over him at or son's soccer game this morning - she was very enthusiastic about contacting you to see if you have or will have any poodles available for adoption. Are you guys still breeding with the standard poodles and may I share your email/phone with my friend, Lauren? Thank you, I hope this note finds you well. -Emily |

I wanted to email you to say thanks for your page, http://www.kandopuppies.com/links.html. I volunteer with a youth group where we have different activities for local kids. We are having a pet care event next weekend. Your page had some great puppy information that we will be able to share with the kids. Thanks for all the help! :-)
One of the kids in my group, Addison, found a great resource on pet proofing: http://www.homeadvisor.com/r/pet-proofing-home-yard/ . Can you put this in your list of resources? She's wants to be a veterinarian when she's older, so I thought her sharing her suggestion online would give her an extra push in the right direction. Plus, I thought it would make a great addition to your page for others and their pets.
If you have more pet care tips or information for the kids, I'll make sure to share it with them. Thanks again!
Take care,
Julie

I wanted to give you an update on Baxter aka Kenspeckle. We have passed the 6 month mark and he is 45 pounds and healthy, he did well on his neutering and hernia repair surgery this month.
He will complete his first round of 6 week training this week and the trainer has been very impressed with how quickly he learns and how well he listens. She is thoroughly impressed with how much respect he gives my 10 year old daughter. We hope to train him in many areas including therapy so he and my daughter can visit the local nursing homes. He is so sweet and well behaved and LOVES to be pet that I think he will be well suited as a therapy dog. He does very well when we go into crowded, chaotic places, like PetSmart (where he does his training) and Home Depot. His favorite things are warm baths, he cracks us up, he lounges in the tub and closes his eyes as we rub him down. Any water anywhere, he stays in my parents pond when we visit and tries to swim in his water bowl all the time. A couple of stuffed animals and lots of belly, ear rubs. Everywhere we go no one believes he's a poodle, even when he is freshly cut!! I always get, "I've never seen a poodle that color!". He is quite the show stopper! After I started the process of getting Baxter from you, our big dog, Penny, was diagnosed with a very aggressive cancer. 3 months later she passed and it was very, very hard on all of us, especially my daughter. She was our gentle giant and I was hoping she could teach Baxter a few things as his mentor. But I want you to know that Baxter has helped all of us, especially my daughter, get through the pain of losing our sweet girl. He was also very sweet and gentle with her while she was sick. I've been very impressed with his calm behavior for a puppy. Of course he has his moments but overall he is very calm and well behaved for his age. I've attached a few photos so you can see what a big boy he's gotten. The one where he is half way in my daughter's lap was taken yesterday. He hasn't quite figured out that he can't fit in our laps anymore, but he is for sure a snuggle buddy!! Hope you're doing well. Sincerely, Kara (4/25/2016) |

He's now 2 years old and a beautiful and great dog.
I'm interested in getting him a playmate.
I see you have more schnauzers. And interested.
I wanted to know if the females (liver/white) have cropped ears, like Duke had when I purchased him?
By the way.. Here's a picture of Duke, formally "Baird"

Hi Jo
Just had to say thank you again!!!!!Love my Boy!!! He Is amazing!!! He is my emotional support service dog now and is spectacular at it. I believe that if you have a service dog you must make sure he is impeccable to set examples and standards for others. It's a responsibility.
When I was down at my sisters in Bedford TX at Christmas I met a man. He lives I block over from my sisters. We talked for a few hours ... I am positive that you know him and his dog. They look like they have some same genetics as your dogs. The two of us could not believe out of the whole world the two of us connected with our pups that close in the world.
I have worked very diligently with Buckwheat's training and everyone wants him. Most people don't want to put the time in. I get compliments on him constantly. I would say yes I can take credit ...but you absolutely breed these pups like science. I appreciate your work. I am not sure what you get paid for your dogs but they are worth ever penny. I hope this finds you in good health and thank you for a great dog.

I can't express the things Buckwheat brings to my life. He is everything I hoped for but got way more. His intelligence is incredible. He is my 4th Aussie and he hands down is the smartest. His coat is beautiful. He is just an amazing dog that loves other people... But he will take his ball over that. Thank you again for the quality product that you put out. We just got certified for him to be my emotional support animal. I was very happy with that. Thank you again

Hi Jo,
I just wanted to drop you a note and let you know that Trixx (our Lily) is doing great! She's eating, drinking, pooping, playing and charming all of us. She's an absolute doll. Her little tail just wags and wags. Even though she has only been here 24 hours, she's clearly feeling at home. I took the attached pic during her nap this afternoon.
Thanks so much!

My apologies for not updating you sooner Ms. Jo, but don’t know where the time goes, & that’s for someone who is now retired!
Charlie (originally Crosby from the Dec 2014 litter) is a most welcomed addition to the family. He’s an amazing dog who was potty trained quickly with minimum accidents in the house. Most impressive is that, except for the first night with us, he has never soiled inside his crate where he sleeps every night. Charlie has proven a bundle of energy and expends most of it running around the yard always at high speed, in addition to our morning & evening walks (1-2 miles each). Recently he was enrolled in a two weeks “Foundations” course where he was described as the “social butterfly”. The training he received was superb – he walks on a loose leash with minimum distractions; sits immediately whenever I stop, & is very good at the ‘sit’, ‘down’, & ‘stay’ commands. He is much more subdued when folks come to visit – before he loved to jump on people. Now, unless you make a huge fuss over him, he only needs a quick reminder not to jump on people or furniture. Attached are photos taken after his first haircut 2 weeks ago; weighs just over 37#. Who knows, . . . . maybe we’ll be interested in a blue merle companion sometime . . . . ! Trust all is well & best regards, Leo |
Jo,
We can't get enough of sweet Frankie. She loves the water. We think she is the smartest puppy. We thought you might like to see how she is growing up. She thinks she is human. We hope other families can find you and be as happy as we are with their new family puppy. She's the greatest. And so pretty. We love the white fur on her chest and feet. We get stopped all the time to ask what kind of dog she is and what is her breed. We are so proud! We love her, thank you so much. Lisa (Aussiedoodle) |

Hey Jo it's the proud owner of Dusty. I just wanted to thank you for my beautiful puppy. He has been a huge help to me. When I come home from a stressful day he's there and gets so excited to see me that he can't even walk straight and sometimes even pees on me haha. He adjusted so fast to our house and for me it was love at first sight. He makes everything better and definitely makes depression more bearable. About 2 weeks ago I ended up going to the mental hospital for a week and that was really rough for me but when I came back he instantly made everything better and made it seem to me for the first time that everything was going to be okay. I promise I'll keep you updated on everything about him.
Feel free to share my story. While I was at the hospital they took my school pic down and he licked it all over. After the first night he was so excited to see me because we already had bonded. He loves ice. And these last two were just today> Sarah (: (Havanese) |
Guthries,
Buddy turned 3 on May 5th, and although we came close to finding him another home, there was "something" about him that we couldn't give up on. He has learned his place in our family, and is a WONDERFUL dog. This last year has been a year of change and maturity for him...for all of us. I have a student who has land and an Australian Shepard, and they are looking for a Red Heeler to join their pack. I shared your e-mail with him to give to his family. Thank you, again, for our awesome dog, and for the positive replies to my e-mails the past few years. I hope you all are doing well and have a beautiful summer! Laureen T. (Australian Cattle Dog) |

Jo,
I wanted to send you an update on our Aussiedoodle, Ellie. She is now 5 months and growing like a weed. We absolutely love her and she is a joy to our family. Of course she is not perfect, she loves to eat socks, and teases us when she grabs a shoe. She is smart and has learned how to walk with us without tugging, how to sit, lay and stay. We have also been working on a relax spot for her to stay while we eat and cook and to come on demand. She loves to run after the kids and plays with them constantly. She is gentle most of the time unless my husband gets her riled up. She plays with our cat and I'm shocked she plays back. Bottom line, we are so happy with our choice in her and thank you for letting us have her in our lives. What a blessing! Lori (Aussiedoodle) |

Good morning Jo,
I'm sorry we weren't able to meet you on Sunday but I wanted to thank you for allowing us to still come up this weekend to meet Bracey, who we call Bella. We took Bella to the vet yesterday for her first "Well Puppy Check" and she did so well. The vet says she is perfectly healthy! This was her first outing with us and everybody kept saying how cute she is, and we agree! Even the vet kept getting distracted by her cuteness while she was examining her :) She seems to be adjusting to our home and us very well so far. In fact, I would hardly call it adjusting! She just fits right in and seems so comfortable with us already, as we are with her :) She is such a sweet, playful, and curious puppy and we are very happy to have her as part of our family now. Thank you for raising such a beautiful, sweet, well adjusted puppy and allowing us to make her part of our family. We love her so much already and can't wait for all of the years of play time ahead with her. Rachel (3/17/15) Havanese P.S.- I have attached some pictures and a video for you. |

Hi Jo,
Thanks once again for your help with our adoption of Brook. She's settled in very well and my daughters adore her. She went to the vets yesterday and got some boosters, along with a clean bill of health. I'm sure this will come as no surprise to you. I've attached a couple of pictures. These are the only ones I could get without one of my girls being next to her. Best wishes, Alan (3/3/15 Havanese) |

Hi Jo -
Stanford is doing great - had to laugh when I found him lying in the bathtub! He had a bath yesterday after a run at the beach and evidently has no problem with the tub! You were right - he is quite the social butterfly and very smart (show off in puppy training classes) and a bit mischievous .....as you can see. Hope that all is well for you - we are loving having Stanford in our lives. Best - lb (2/23/15) Aussiedoodle |
Jo,

Jo,
I just wanted you to know that Grace (Havanese) is doing very well. We just adore her. She has learned to fetch and my husband is teaching her soccer... we are working on potty training but she still feels she can go whenever and where ever she wants. She is doing well with leash training also although she prefers to run free - there are times she can't.
Thank you for this precious dog. We have only had her for one week - but love her to pieces - even though she gets us up at 4:00 in the morning for her potty breaks.

Jo,
We can't begin to thank you enough for bringing this little ball of fire, Stella, into our lives. She is such a cuddler and has such a big heart, yet has tons of spunk and can be quite the drama queen. She most definitely is one spoiled little lady and couldn't be more loved anywhere else. She was so easy to potty train, is extremely smart, and is always waiting for us with a kiss. Her "Stella kisses" are the best! One thing we find quite funny is that she likes routines so she tends to keep us on a regular routine and schedule rather than the other way around. She is always at our feet and follows us wherever we go making sure that she isn't missing anything or is helping us with whatever it is we're doing. She still has her blankies that we brought her home with and she carries them around every day just like a little kid and snuggles up with us in them, when I try to wash them she even goes and digs them out of the dirty laundry!! She is now 10 months old and weighs right around 35lbs. Shortly after we got this little bundle of joy we found out that we were expecting another little bundle of joy in about 9 months. Stella is currently patiently waiting for her little sister to arrive just about any day now and when we can't find her she is usually snuggled up in her room sleeping or checking out the new toys for the baby. Thank you again for adding this little lady to our growing family, she is very loved!!! Julie & John (2/14/15) (Aussiedoodle) |
Hi Jo,
Tate is doing fantastic! He is such a joy--we all fight over who gets to play with and hold him! So far my 12 year old son wins most of the time. Tate has definitely grown. Don't know how much he weighs this week, but he sure is a good eater and he has even started poking his head into our lab, Jakey's, food bowl and water. He is pretty bossy and tends to tell Jakey who is boss. He's a little firecracker!
I am hoping you can tell me what kind of shampoo you use on your pups. He smelled just delicious when we got him.
Thanks!
Diane (1/29/15) Havanese

Jo,
So sorry it has taken so long to respond--just got my boys to bed. Tate is doing great. He is eating and drinking well and loves playing with both boys. He just frolics around and sort of hops like a bunny! He is just so cute and sweet. We think he is very smart. He is already playing fetch with a fluffy little stuffed pig that squeaks and he responds to his name most of the time. We had our first vet visit today. He was impressed with your shot record, so It was a quick visit. He said he looked fantastic. I'll get you some better pictures for the website. These were just quick ones on my phone, but I wanted you to know what Tate's new home is like. It was a pleasure meeting Jay. We will stay in touch,

Ms Guthrie,
I just wanted to thank you for your kindness during our loss. You were so sweet and your words meant a lot to Sherry. She was heartbroken when we lost our beloved Jasmine. She was the best dog we ever owned, so smart and such a good girl. I remember the day we came and picked her up from you 14 years ago. She was such a joy and made our life complete. When Sherry called you so upset, you were so kind and you really helped her deal with our loss. Again thank you so much, you didn't have to give so much of your time and your words of wisdom. We will be calling you once Sherry goes through her grievance. We definitely want another puppy from you. Over the past 14 years you and your family have become a second family for us, you have always been there to answer any question we have had. And Thank you for trusting us with Jasmine.

Hello,
Just wanted to let you know that Cygnet who will be 1 in a few days is the life of this house. She entertains my grandchildren, and I have laughed at her antics with other dachshunds in the family.
She is a fantastic dog and so loved by many. Thank you so much!

Jo,
We LOVE Miles - now "Jupiter"! He is bouncy AND laid back and currently taking a nap. He got a bath, a collar, tag, toys and a brush today. We are all set I think, and very happy to bring him into our family. I enjoyed meeting Jay today: he was really pleasant and reminds me of the old school country gentleman. My husband is also a Jay.
I'll send future updates if you are interested.
Thanks again,
Emily (12/28/14)
(12/29/14)Jupiter is doing great - we are loving him and my kids are very much engaged with him, which I was really hoping for. Housebreaking (that terms sounds so harsh) is a top priority and fortunately the winter school break is affording us the necessary time and attention to this task. I'm thankful for the head start he got with you guys and his momma!
I will send a better photo soon when I use my real camera, not just my phone camera. :)

Hi Jo
Just to let you know our Havanese Puppy Cleo now "Trinity" we picked up the 23rd is doing great. She went in for her first Well Puppy Vet Check and the Vet said she was a perfectly healthy little girl. We couldn't be happier. She did get a little tired over Christmas and we did as you said and gave her plenty of quiet time and she loves peanut butter, thanks for the tip. She has been doing very well with potty training, we have been using wee-wee pads since it is so cold. We will work on outside training when it warms back up. Thank you so much for all the help and advice. My brother and his wife will be calling you after the New Year
they want a puppy like Trinity. We will highly recommend you to anyone looking for a Havanese puppy.
Thank you so much for allowing us to adopt her.
The Gerbalt Family we will send more pictures as she grows. (12/27/14)

Thank you and Jay for lil River's. He is so cute and lots of fun and did great on the trip home. What brand of shampoo/conditioner do you use? I thought since he smells so good, that I would buy the same brand. We will send pictures as he grows up.
Thank you,

Jo,
Stanford update:
He has eaten, played, chewed on his toy, played outside and taken care of business again ... fascinated by the tv ... wants me to hold his chew toy for him (I know better than to do that for a minute) ... climbed into his new bed and is out like a light (for now). He has three loving people around him ... and one very angry cat :-) who has yet to say hello. I have given them each smells .... and they will settle - she is 16 and had a dog her whole life .... along with many other cats .....
Sleep tight - we'll keep you posted.
thx lb
Hi Jo
Quick email to let you know that Stanford is doing well ..... he is up to 6.9 lbs, slept in until 5:30 this morning, kissed the cat - without getting slapped, had his first vet appt and fell asleep in the crate once they were done prodding, went to the pet store where he was paraded around in a basket to pick out his toys (favorite is a deer antler). All big accomplishments for the few days he has been with us. While he settled in quickly - you were spot on - after day three he is really at home and quite comfortable
A couple of pics attached - will send more as he grows!
Thx lb (12/20/14)

Hi Jo -
Quick update - he is doing great - an absolute doll! I am talking with a trainer to look at getting him started on therapy dog training - will let you know.
He's moved to Orijin food, and stopped eating his poop, now plays fetch - "get it" and "bring it" and other than the occasional puppy crazy times is really mellow.
Up to 7.4 pounds - moving into toddler phase and growing so fast! Current pics attached -
Best to you and yours - lb

Hello Jo,
Here's a cute pic of Nico formerly known as Shucks. He's eating fine but wasn't drinking. We figured that out by putting a little bit of chicken broth in his water. He's becoming less timid and more playful but hates to be in his crate or in a room where there aren't people. We are slowly figuring out a potty schedule and he's doing better on this front. Thanks for bringing such a great little guy into our lives.
Happy Holidays,
Elizabeth (12/15/14)

Good afternoon Jo-
My son and I love our aussiedoodle puppy, Omega (originally Sabra, from April 14 litter). At eight months she weighs 37 pounds. She was mostly black but her coloring has changed a bit since we picked her up. A lot more gray on her back and legs and a little brown around the nose area. She is a super sweet dog, and loves to play catch, and just hang by your side all day. I included a couple of pictures, the day we picked her up, then last week, and after a haircut. I didn’t really know what to expect on how she would look as she got older, so hopefully these will help other potential families.
Thanks again, this is the best dog, I think we have ever had, such a wonderful temperament, smart and for a puppy she really hasn’t chewed up anything that wasn’t hers, which is a huge relief!

I wanted to send a picture of Buckwheat Aka (Granger). He and I are doing very well. Loves his ball and cemetery runs. I have trained him off lead or still working him with hand signals. He is very very smart. He is the smartest Aussie I have ever had. He has been to school. I am veteran and we have a big place ( clearpathforveterans here. Dogs4vets is a program that is big there. Dogs are priority there always welcome. I am going to train him as my service dog so I can take him with me. He helps me a lot with my anxiety and depression.
Thank you so much for him. People stop me all the time to tell me what a beautiful dog he is.
He loved his teeth brushed. He likes to chew to. My facebook is ***************** if you wanted to check out what people say about him.

Jo,
Jim now Horseshoe Joe is doing great. He is a fine dog. It was hard buying a pet online, but I/we are very pleased with how great it all went. I had no problems with him and the instructions were very helpful. It took a while to get him to eat so the supplies were very helpful. Including the bag of food you sent along.
Thank you,
Krystal 9/23/14

Hey Jo,
Royal (formally Brandi) is doing great. She is one of the smartest dogs I have ever met. She knows sit, stay, down, up and here. Not to mention she was housebroken in about a week! She absolutely adores people she has to say hi to every person that walks past her when we are out on our walks. She also gets so many compliments; people cannot get over her beautiful eyes and unique color. I have recommended you to many people! Here she is in Brooklyn sitting in front of the Brooklyn Bridge and Manhattan skyline.
Nick
Hey Jo,
I wanted to give you an update on Brandi, who we renamed to Royal. She’s doing great and has settled in nicely. She is very feisty like you mentioned. She loves to play and run. I started her at puppy classes last week and she has proved to be a very smart girl, picking up my hand commands very fast. I also have been taking her to puppy play group. She’s a little shy around a large number of puppies and seems more interested in all puppy owners. She definitely loves people and being the center of attention, but does warm up to the other puppies as the play time progress. She was at the vet for her second round of shots last week and weighs a whopping 3.12 pounds, so she is still a very small girl.
I will keep in touch with more updates in a few weeks.
Thanks for the great pup!

I just wanted to give you an update on Dillion our amazing Aussiedoodle. He is doing great in Puppy Kindergarten. I think he is the smartest puppy in class. He loves people, especially kids. I can't thank you enough for allowing us to bring Dillion home. He only had 1 accident in the house, and I think that was more my fault than his, I just can't believe how well he is doing. He is by far the best puppy we have ever had. I am trying to convince my husband that we need another one from your next litter, please let us know when you have another litter. We love Dillion.
Thank you again,

Hello Jo from Montana!
Just wanted to give you an update on our Efendi. She arrived to us almost two months ago and we can't imagine life without her. I have to admit I was hesitant to ship a dog because the concept of airplane travel freaked me out, but she arrived safe and sound and full of love. We have named her Winnie! She is a ball full of energy. I cannot tell you how many compliments we get on her coloring pattern. She is about 7.5 or 8 pounds now (almost 4 months old) and is perfect for our family. We love to travel and camp and she is a little trooper! She loves the outdoors and is extremely curious. She is a good protector and has the most expressive face. Her eyes and ears convey how she is feeling. Her favorite activities include digging up my father in laws garden, eating all the flower buds right out of the flower pots and cuddling. She is getting a little more independent now which makes momma sad since I absolutely love her puppy cuddles! We just love her to pieces and will definitely be buying from Kando again when we are ready for a friend for Winnie.
Thanks again!

Hey Jo,
I wanted to give you an update on Brandi, who we renamed to Royal.

Hello, thank you for our wonderful new member of our family! We have named him Indy and he is an absolute joy! He greeted us with kisses and playful puppy paws from the moment he exited his crate. He seemed completely unphased by the plane ride and quickly accepted us as his new family. He has found his favorite toy and is eating and drinking well. We have been giving him his nutricel too- which he seems to like. He even went potty outside. Wow!
We are a blended family and have 2 boys, age 10 and 11, and they are gentle animal lovers (both experienced with dogs). They both LOVE Indy so much already!
We have a large fenced in yard and Indy has already enjoyed rolling around on the grass and checking things out. He has taken a couple naps and is already proving to be a great snuggler. Here are a couple of pictures of his first day with us. We look forward to many wonderful days with Indy! He has stolen our hearts already!
(Norris Niblets 3/21/14 is now Indy)
Thank you kindly,

Let me "brag" about Aussiedoodles....we purchased one of France/Baby's litter a year ago. We are IN LOVE!!! He loves people (ESPECIALLY CHILDREN) and other dogs! I think he'd rather move in with our neighbors since they have 2 small children, that love him just the same. He is also very intelligent.....he can open doors....and I mean an "in-swing" door. LOVES to play ball....if the house seems quiet, we can generally look at our feet and we will have a ball laying by them and he will be hunkered down (which we call "Aussie down") in his favorite spot where he waits for us to throw the ball. We have considered getting a second one... Carla (5/15/14)
Hi Jo:
Our Cody Joe is one year old today - 17 pounds of love and affection. I've attached a couple of recent pictures of him. Stretched out from toe to toe he is 36 inches! The one picture of him in Bill's arms is his favorite way to watch TV in the evening -- when he isn't sleeping!! And when he can't find either of our laps, he crawls on his red binky and sleeps on his back! We love him to death and he is so much company that we would not know what to do without him. I hope we never have to try!
I hope all is well with you and all of your puppy dogs. I keep telling myself that one of these days I will get a companion for Cody Joe...Bill says "ain't gonna happen"!!
Take care Jo and let me know how you are.
Regards,
Marcie (3/28/2014)

Hi Jo,
A little over a year ago I bought a miniature schnauzer from you. Just wanted to let you know that she has been the absolute best addition to our family! Her name is Darcy and I've attached a picture of her with my girls.
Just wanted to let you know we are very happy with her. As a breeder, I'm sure you hear the complaints but people rarely stop to tell you the good things.
Thanks again and when we are ready for another addition we will be calling you!

Jo,
Hey! I've been meaning to send you some pictures and stuff for your site. Wasn't sure what site you was talking about. Just thought I'd send them here. Heidi is my absolute best friend. She goes EVERYWHERE with me. My shotgun rider to town, on trips, to the lake, hiking, trail riding, she even goes to class with me sometimes! She probably knows me better than any human being I am around. I am so blessed to have her in my life and I wouldn't have that blessing if it wasn't for you.
Thank you, Lauren Beth

Jo,
It’s been quite a long time, and I thought I’d send you a shot of Kona. He has been a blast, and all he wants to do 24hrs a day is play soccer. He and Maya still get along and have some good chase scenes and wrestling matches. Whip out a flashlight and he is like a cat, chasing the light wherever it goes. He also gets very upset when people wrestle or pretend fight. As I get some more shots of him, I will send them your way. I hope you and the family are well. Have a great Thanksgiving!
All the best,
Peter (11/21/2013)

Hi there.
I just wanted to touch base with you and let you and tell you how grateful I am for purchasing the Bits female puppy from you :)
Bailey, the name I gave her, has definitely become more brave and playful in the last few days. I have been taking her with me to the head clinic in Norman OK and has had lots of attention from the staff members around. While at first she was a little shy, she has quickly learned to enjoy the attention! Bailey has also been eating very well and sleeping throughout the whole night. She picked up on crate training very well and like you mentioned prior, is quickly picking up on potty training. She has been a complete joy to have around! I attached a couple pictured for you guys as well :)
Thank you again for such a sweet puppy!

Jo, (10/11/13) "Bentley the Aussiedoodle)
We wanted to email you some pictures of Bentley since he is just about 6 months old. Having an Aussiedoodle has been a lot of fun. We have taken him on a couple trips and he always gets SO MUCH ATTENTION! When he was just a small puppy we went to Grand Lake in Oklahoma and participated in a Poker Run on the Lake....Bentley had his picture taken several times. He even made it on one of the web sites of the official photographers of the event. We have also taken him to Breckenridge Colorado, where again, he received a LOT of attention. Always the same questions "what kind of dog is he?"
He is so full of life and LOVES TO PLAY BALL!!! He has been super easy to teach tricks too. He can speak, down (squats on the floor), roll over, shake, play dead, beg and go out on the driveway every day and retrieve my newspaper.
We LOVE that he does not shed!!!! (Thanks to the poodle in him). We have had him shaved twice since we picked him up in June at 8 weeks old.
Thank you for such a fun dog that has a very good and easy going personality. He literally LOVES people and other dogs!

Hey Jo
I just got your email address from my fiancée, Brent and I just wanted to keep in contact with you a little bit about our wonderful bundle of joy "Elijah" we got from you back in April. We have been meaning to email and keep in touch but the busy summer got away from us!!! I just wanted to get a hold of you and thank you soo much for the opportunity to get one of your puppies. I can't even explain to you the amount of joy he brings to our lives. Not to mention all the compliments we get on him ( there are no dogs around here that look like him at all!!!!!!) He is the star of the show anytime we go to the vet or the pet store. He is adorable and he knows it!! He has the bests temperament of any dog I've ever known or been around and he is smarter than shit too! He learned sit after being home just 2 days and now we sit, shake, lay down, and roll over!! We loved the name Elijah and couldn't change it since he answered to it right away!! We still call him "Baby Lijah" even tho he is no baby anymore!! I do want to send some photos to you and show you how he has grown....we weigh him every Saturday to see just how big he's gotten each week :) I did want to ask you if you have any photos of any of his siblings, either as puppies when they were little or any that have been sent to you just out of my pure curiosity of what his siblings looked like. I haven't asked Brent about your website or anything so maybe you have stuff on there I just don't know what your site is. I would love to have Elijah on your website if you have room!! Thanks again for all you have done, I would recommend you in a heartbeat too!!!

She is doing great. Her new name is Sushi and she is a joy! Last week she saw the vet and all went well. She is learning to walk on a leash and went on her first (very short) hike at the park last weekend. She is so smart - she keeps me on my toes!
Thanks so much for bringing her into my life!

Jo - Thanks. And thanks for your flexibility with doing this so quickly. I was really nervous, having never done this over the internet. We were so excited and everything went smoothly. Thank you!
Best friend already! He smelled so good and no mess in the crate. We are having a blast! He follows her everywhere. He's doing great! She wanted to name him Duck, so we named him Toby-Duck.

Buddy "Dugan" (Aussiedoodle)
Hi Jo!
Just wanted to attach a PDF containing the original warranty contract as well as proof that we took ‘Dugan’ to the vet for a check-up within the prescribed 3 day period after receipt. No problems – he’s a keeper!! We love him. My youngest son decided to re-name him ‘Buddy,’ and it has stuck. But his middle name remains Dugan. He is full of mischief and is busy being a normal puppy. We’ve had to puppy-proof the house and he still manages to find something to get into. Typical, but we love him immensely and he has plenty of chew toys to mess around with. He is not at a loss for keeping himself occupied. He has adjusted quite well to his new home and we play with him constantly. We have been amazed at what a quick learner he is. On the first day, he managed to negotiate stairs (tentatively but we practiced with him) and now he flies up and down stair cases with no problem. He even launches himself to the main floor with two steps remaining presumably to make it more of a challenge! Super Puppy!! Debbie has been working commands with him and he has learned how to sit on command. We will introduce more very soon. The other thing is that he is a natural at playing ‘fetch’ with a tennis ball. No special training required what-so-ever! It is a normal routine now to play ‘fetch’ with the tennis ball or with his chew toys indoors to wear him down – we are still a little reluctant to let him off the leash outside as we have a lot of acreage and he could get easily get lost and confused. He wants to run and we want to accommodate his exercise but with caution. Pretty soon we will do it. Every day we take him for about a 1-1/2 mile romp in the morning while it is still cool, accompanied with multiple pee/poop walks every 1-1/2 to 2 hours just to get him into the habit. There have been several nights with no accidents, but he is still a puppy and we know how to deal with that. He is eating very regularly now around 3 cups a day of the puppy chow that you recommended. He does not gorge himself, rather eats a little, then walks around a bit and then returns to eat a little more. That is different from other dogs we have had. We have found a pet store in a nearby that carries the brand, so he has not been at a loss with adjusting to a new brand of food. He’s also gained 4 pounds since you sent him, so he definitely is bigger!! I’ll send some pictures with the next email. All is well.
Best regards,
Glenn (7/26/13)

Marley (Aussiedoodle)
Dear Jo,
This is Marley formerly known as Elke. I just wanted to let you know how she was doing. Since day 1 she has been the best puppy. She has slept through the night since night 1 and has been growing into a beautiful puppy. We have begun puppy training school and she has picked up everything rather quickly. She has a great personality and just loves everyone and every dog. Everyone she meets just loves her and her great colors. Everyone just has to know "What kind of dog is that". We have come to love her so much and she has made a great addition to our family. We can easily tell she is going to grow up into a great dog.
Thanks,
Joe
This is Marley formerly known as Elke. I just wanted to let you know how she was doing. Since day 1 she has been the best puppy. She has slept through the night since night 1 and has been growing into a beautiful puppy. We have begun puppy training school and she has picked up everything rather quickly. She has a great personality and just loves everyone and every dog. Everyone she meets just loves her and her great colors. Everyone just has to know "What kind of dog is that". We have come to love her so much and she has made a great addition to our family. We can easily tell she is going to grow up into a great dog.
Thanks,
Joe

He's so good and well behaved, hyper at times but he keeps me active so that's good! I'm attaching some pictures of him so u can see how pretty he grew up to be. I'm so happy I picked him :)

Cody, (Mini Schnauzer)
We had Cody to the vet the Monday after we picked him up and he was 2.7 pounds, We had him back for his first series of shots today and he weighed 3.8!! He's growing and has adapted very well. Here are some pics -- he loves to sleep on his back! Would like to be added to the customer feedback.
I will continue to keep you up to date on him. He is a lover (except when he bites!)
Marcie (5/31/2013)
Hi Jo:
Here are two of the latest pictures of Cody Joe. I have to tell you something funny/strange -- when we leave him to go shopping or someplace where we can't take him, he has a screaming fit when we leave, BUT when we go to church on Sunday mornings, we tell him "Going to church, Cody" he very quietly bids us goodbye and we don't hear a peep out of him. Go figure!
Regards, Marcie (Sept. 1, 2013)

We only got Jericho a few days ago, but love him so much already! Him & my other three doxies are getting along great. He just had a vet appointment today and is healthy as can be! He hasn't went to the bathroom once in the house. He always waits til we take him outside! He is my little shadow and such a joy! I'm so glad he's part of my family. I couldn't be happier!
Sincerely,
Amber

Violet & Kindle (Australian Cattle Dog) 4/15/2013
Hello-o-o-o
Allow Me to update you on "Kindle". I went to the Harrisburg Airport and they gave me an Animal Carrier, and Mercy Me, peeking out with tiny eyes piecing into my soul, was this wee little gorgeous red puppy that took a hold of my heart and there she is now and shall remain.
That was Friday - Today Monday she has been introduced to the pony's, geese, cats, chickens and two Great Pyrenees (of whom Do Not like her, yet!) and rides in a basket (secure) on the hood of my tractor. She also has a nose on her, (Woowee) it (as most do), found those delicate nuggets of Pony Poo. Of course, I stopped that in a hurry! She is so relaxed with everything, I'm so impressed, 8 weeks old, she's a "thinker" & observer- See's everything. Yes, we bonded at the airport. The first nite (and now) sleeps on a stand, in her kennel, facing my bed, I put my fingers thru the wire and she puts her wee paws on them and we fall asleep 9:30 pm, 2:30 am, 5:00 am PP call. Till she gets older, trained more this shall work So far the potty training is going quite well. Every time we go outside, I'm teaching he to ring a bell attached low on the door - She is catching on. She's a very bright little girl, is she, in her bloodline have Queensland Heeler, I think? In my opinion there is no other breed like Australian Cattle Dog (Queensland) I know about the stubby or No tail dogs breed by Mr. Hall, many years ago. No Matter, Darlin, I'm pleased, so very happy - I shall recommend ya all to everyone I come in contact with - "You're the BEST" I'm so grateful my little "Kindle Fire" was able to introduce me to ya all - hence, name for puppy "Kindle".
I was so nervous about buying a puppy on the internet, thank you for being so helpful and understanding and so professional and making this go so smoothly. (I'm old fashioned).
Amazing how the Great Spirit arranges things, huh, puppy & wonderful people, I'm blessed.
Sincerely,
Violet & Kindle

Hector & Brick (Aussiedoodle) 4/8/2013
Hi Jo,
Here are some photos of Brick, now almost 8 months. He gets neutered tomorrow. We took these at Dog Bowl at the Cotton Bowl this past Sunday. I am constantly stopped by people remarking about how beautiful he is and always asking, "What kind of dog is that?" He has turned out to have a wonderful personality, gets along with our other dog Harry, the standard poodle, and does really well with both cats. He is really doing well with his obedience training and understands more at this point than any other dog I have worked with. Hector

Patricia, Jennifer, Peyton & Ollie the Aussiedoodle
(4/4/2013) I wanted to let you know my mom and Peyton have picked up Ollie. I am stick in my human anatomy class trying to cram for a test later! I can't wait to see him. I spoke to Peyton and she was busy showing him the things he could chew on and explaining to him he can't chew on her shoes or dolls. I will be sure to send you pictures when I get home.
Thank you for everything!
Jennifer
I wanted to share the first couple of pictures with you. These were taken with a cell phone so they aren't the best. I just wanted you to see that Peyton and Ollie have quickly become the best of friends!
Jennifer
Hi Jo: (July 2013)
I thought it was time I finally get around to sending the pictures I promised of Ollie as well as send an update. First I must say we have truly enjoyed welcoming Ollie into our family. It was rough going initially between my daughter and Ollie. She definitely wasn't used to or expecting the playfulness of a puppy and most definitely wasn't a fan of the puppy teeth! Over the last couple of months they have quickly become the best of friends.
Ollie has adjusted well and he is doing great. He has always been a very happy puppy but now he is a healthy and happy puppy and more playful than ever!
The pictures I have attached are few taken over the last couple of months. He loves to be outside and play with Peyton. He is still trying to master the slide (you will see in the pictures). The last picture seems to be his favorite spot to lay. We often catch him laying out under the umbrella. Thankfully that is the only table he chooses to claim. We are working on breaking this habit!
I will send you more in the future! Ollie is a wonderful dog and a huge blessing in our life!
Jennifer

John Wintters and Sadie (Australian Cattle Dog)
Feb. 11, 2013 - Allow me to brag on my pup for a little bit here, please.
Sadie is a 6.5 month old Red Heeler, aka Australian Cattle Dog. I got her when she was 8 weeks old, and have spent practically every single day with her. She goes to work with me every day, camps with me, hunts with me, pretty much everything except operate equipment. She has very quickly become a really good dog.
Yesterday we went to my camp on my lease that is around 400 acres. We didn't get there until the evening, so mostly spent the night around the fire. I was busy with a few things this morning, so around lunch time I take her for a hike thru the woods. I grabbed my carbine in case I saw some small game. We checked a feeder, checked my hog trap, saw a couple of doe, and then went to check on my pig pipe that we filled up yesterday. The pig pipe was untouched, so I decided to follow a pig trail from there to a popular pig bedding area.
We get into the bedding area, which is in some thick woods and underbrush, on the west side of a clearing of about an acre that is surrounded by woods. About 20 yards from the clearing edge, I spot a large black object under a downed tree in some thick briars. The wind is good, and my pup is about 30 feet to my right. I'm pretty sure this is a big boar so I draw down on it, and when my dog rustled some leaves it stood up. I promptly shot it in the neck. The hog bolted and I shot it again before it disappeared. I went to the clearing and looked for the hog or tracks or blood. Nothing.
I took my dog back to the boar's nest and showed her where it was bedded. The hair on her back stood up as she sniffed the area. I told her to "find the pig" and off she went. I thought the hog had went southeast across the clearing and kept trying to get her to find his trail. She kept going to a spot due east, so I let her have her head and told her to find the pig. We re-entered the woods, with me following her, hoping she knows what I am asking of her. When we crossed a dry creek bed I saw some fresh hog tracks and started to have some hope, another hundred yards and we cross a 4 wheeler trail, following some big, fresh hog tracks that seem the right size for the hog I shot. 10 yards into the thick stuff, I find a sapling with a fresh tusk wound on it that the boar had run into. I realize that the hog is hit hard and shouldn't be too far, hopefully. At this point, being in some pretty thick stuff, I sling the carbine and pull my .45 acp just in case the bad boy still has some life left in him. Another few yards and I kneel down and see Sadie standing over the dead boar, about 20 yards ahead, looking at me like "Come on, Dad, I found it!" After approaching the boar from the rear and verifying that it was dead, I commenced to praise her. She was very proud of herself and even posed for a picture with her trophy. And I truly do consider this big boar "her" trophy.
There was no way I would have ever found this hog without her. There was no blood, period. I thought the hog had continued southeast across the clearing, when in fact, it veered due east, and after crossing the dry creek, turned due north. From initial contact to where she found the hog was over 300 yards, maybe closer to 400, as she tracked it, and 90 degrees out from where I would have looked without her guidance. She literally scent trailed this hog, without a blood trail, for almost a quarter mile, and never wavered. The only times she stopped was to look back at me as if she was wondering why I was so slow.
I am tremendously pleased with how this all turned out, and just wanted to share the experience with some folks I thought would appreciate it.

Drew and Bailey & Berti (long coat dachshund)
Hey Jo,
We are so happy to have Berti in our lives. She is definitely spoiled, happy and most of all healthy. Thanks to where she was born and raised :) We just love her to death, and as you already know from Facebook, she is the queen of our castle. Berti has had a fantastic first year of life, and I'm sure it will only get better for her. What pup gets to move to Montana, play in the snow, ride on jet skis, surf on a mountain lake, and many many more adventures? She loves her four older brothers: Mack, Ralph, Porter, and Woods. They all get along great. She keeps them in line, and they listen pretty well. ;) Her and Woods are best friends!! Thanks for giving us the puppy we always wanted. She has our hearts!
Happy parents,
Drew and Bailey

Koda - Aussiedoodle
Hi Jo!
I just want you to know how precious my Koda is! I just absolutely love his breed! He's so happy all the time! Even when he's in "trouble"! LOL!! He's very smart - his training is coming along quite nicely for 5 months of age. We'll start in earnest in another month or so. Thank you so much! I'm so glad I found him on the internet! He's perfect for me!
The best of both worlds. They are the 2nd and 3rd smartest breeds, and they have hair, but they don't shed. Very active in active periods, but so quiet and sweet otherwise. I just love his temperament - not an angry or mean bone in his body. He just knows everyone loves him - and they do! :-) They come in all sizes - Koda is standard poodle X full sized aussie. I was planning to get a mini aussie, but I got to poking around and found this breed, and fell in love sight unseen, and then we decided that being at the barn and around the horses, a bigger dog would be best. I have Andre and Qit for lapdogs when I need one... Koda still qualifies at this point, and I imagine he still will when full grown when he wants to... LOL!! I highly recommend Jo Guthrie as a breeder, if you're interested! They come in all colors - merles as well. There weren't any available when I got Koda, but I didn't want to pay for one, either. I saw Koda's picture online, and fell in love there! Patti G.

Precious, Mini Schnauzer
2/28/2013 Dear Jo,
We bought this little doll from you in November, Escapade, is now Precious. She is beautiful. I'm sending the latest pic of her. Don't worry about her being cold. We're in Florida for the winter. She is an absolute doll and so frisky. All the neighbors know her name, and everyone loves her. Do your dogs walk on their hind legs, she does. She is full of life and a joy to be around. We could not be more pleased with her. Nobody here in Tarpon Springs has ever seen a Parti Schnauzer. Not even the vet. He couldn't get over her. He just kept saying "she's adorable". We just love her.
Thanks again. Jewel
(4/1/2013)
Jo, I weigh about 8 lbs now and I am so darn smart. I bark to go outside and go potty. I give nose tip kisses. I know who Mommy is and who Daddy is. I got the new Snoozer car seat and Daddy go so scared yesterday. He had taken me to the store letting me sit on the seat next to him. When he came back to the van, I couldn't be found and he was frantic. Well, somehow I had gotten up and into my new car seat and was fast asleep. I am very happy and my Mommy and Daddy are so happy they found you.
Love, Precious

She stands taller than my silky terrier. I just wanted to thank you for allowing us to buy her. We love her very much. She is such a delight.

Australian Cattle Dog "Pearl"
11/30/12
Hello Mrs Guthrie -
I have to tell you that Pearl (Paddle) has changed our lives. My wife, Mary is as happy as I have ever seen her. She finds excuses to "swing by the house" during her work day to check on her new puppy and takes her on errand and to the store. I usually hang back a little because inevitably when we are out in a public place, people are attracted to Mary and her puppy (really they are attracted to the puppy). There are several folks who work at the hardware store that I frequent, who all ready recognize her ; we walked in today and someone said "there's that puppy" and suddenly there were five or six girls and ladies standing around my wife.... I am not exaggerating, it has been this way all week.
Another interesting thing that happened is that Pearl almost immediately strutted in and established herself as a member of our pack of dogs - we had four already, all mixed breeds and rescues, kind of a "hard luck" group, if you know what I mean (my #1 dog is a one eyed terrier mix who won't let anyone near me). The biggest one, "Baby" is a pit bull mix and she has really bonded with Pearl. She crouches and pushes her around with her snout while our baby heeler tries to get her little needle teeth into any limb or loose area of skin. Baby is very gentle with her. It's pretty funny to watch.
Anyway, I thought I would write and thank you two again and give you an update on our progress.
Also, we are curious about her parents. Do you happen to have a picture of them? We can already see her color starting to darken and she has developed a really nice dark pattern around her eyes. It would be interesting to see what her parents look like to get an idea about how she may change and develop as she matures.
We'll send some pictures in a few weeks.
thanks again - Lance

Dear Mrs. Guthrie,
I have wanted to send a note or email you for some time now, shame on me for taking so long to write to you. May I tell you a little about the dog I named Pearl? Four months ago my husband gave me a puppy that I named Pearl, she is the sunshine in my day. I didn't know that I could love a dog as much as I love Pearl, she is 100% aware that I feel this way. From the beginning I discovered that she came with a very unique personality and spunk like many heelers are known for. The first day that I began my house cleaning was a complete surprise. Pearl attacks any thing with a handle, and I mean ANYTHING. Broom's, mops, shovels, rakes, if it has a handle she wants to kill it and tear it to pieces. She is absolutely crazy about water! When I go into our garden to water the plants Pearl is at my side, ready to grab the hose or chase the water as I spray the yard. She is so fast and jumps very high while chasing the water in the air. She has a hard time deciding which to do if there is a broom and a water hose going at the same time. My husband and I have tried to take pictures of her water acrobats, she is quite the sight. Pearl has four other dogs who have lived with our family from 4 to 12 years total. Three of the four are very small size, all weigh under 10 pounds. Baby is our larger dog, pit lab mix and she loves Pearl. Pearls best friend in the group is Hank, our 1 eyed Chihuahua. All four of our dogs are rescue dogs, with very easy going yet demanding personalities. Pearl has made a home with our brood, she is on her way to becoming the Alfa dog in the pack. One of the more unusual things that Pearl does is how verbal she is, she can talk or moan when she wants something. She is very funny in this way, she will let you know with a sigh a moan or a cry if she is unhappy, we love this about her. We pretty much love everything about her, and wanted you to know this. I am attaching some pictures for you, hope you will enjoy seeing them. Thank you for Pearl, she is a wonderful animal that I plan on spending the next 15 to 20 years with.
Warm wishes,
Mary
Hello Mrs Guthrie -
I have to tell you that Pearl (Paddle) has changed our lives. My wife, Mary is as happy as I have ever seen her. Renate K. & Emma (wire coat dachshund)
Hello Jo,
I wanted to pass on an email from Emma's (formally Victoria) family. As you can see, she is going to be a very loved little girl. Thanks for all you do Jo in making families happy with your babies. Happy Thanksgiving.
Dear Cherie,
I am glad that you all received Dr. Kauffman's fax, verifying that our pup might be the healthiest little dog around.
She is known as 'Emma' from now on. She starts coming when called, eats heartily and wants to sleep right next to me, night and day...which of course she can and was welcome to do from day one.
She plays like crazy, carries a regular tennis ball clear across the room. She starts barking and growling when she hears something going on outside.
Maybe her family would like to know that for around 25 years I adopted strays, abandoned and abused animals. Each of them turning into loving, strong and proud little furry people! Yes, it's awfully hard to accept that none of them can live for as long as we can...
Little Emma has all the love anybody can give and right now she is sound asleep on my lap.
She will be spayed at the appropriate time...no puppies from her and no showing her! Her life will be playing in the yard, getting spoiled, traveling the country in my motor home, sniffing out all those campgrounds and digging around all those beaches....and getting spoiled some more...
Please forward to her family...
Best wishes and a very happy Thanksgiving to all of you!
Thank you,
Cherie

Hector & Brick (Aussiedoodle)
Hi Jo,
I just wanted to touch base with you. Thank you for being patient as we worked through the details of bringing the puppy home. We are really happy with him and he is having a great time playing with Harry, the Standard Poodle, and with Izzy and Grace, the two cats.
His new name is Brick. The vet checked him out and said you did a great job giving him his meds and documenting everything. He had a rough first night in the crate and I wound up sleeping on the floor next to the crate so he wouldn't howl and wake all the neighbors in the building. After that, he was fine and now sleeps through the night.
He has learned to "hold it" while we go down the elevator to the green space across the street, and though he has "accidents" at home, he is totally getting the concept of the grassy park.
He has met the neighbors and everyone is crazy about him. He is definitely a hit on my Facebook page with 63 "Likes" on his picture and dozens of comments. You may have some future buyers. There's a lot of interest about the Aussiedoodles.
Would you mind sending me the photos you had on your web page? I would love to have them. How old was he when those were taken?
I am attaching some photos from the last few days. I look forward to hearing from you.

Jo,
Thank you for the email. That is one very awesome dog. I again would like to thank you for allowing me to visit with you and allowing me to view your kennels. It is always awesome to find a person who cares as much and works as hard as you do to maintain a high quality of care for the animals. I let my co-workers know about the great work that you are doing and how great your kennels are and everyone was very impressed. I look forward to the possibility of meeting with your club and hopefully by meeting them I can answer some of the questions and concerns they may have. As always, If I may ever be of any assistance, please do not hesitate to call me.
